As we venture into the last week of July (dang it went fast), we have a few more opportunities to come together as a community to honor these fallen soldiers and officers. I don’t know about you, but I have really enjoyed doing all these HERO WODS this month…it sure has helped me keep a good perspective. Even if we modify these workouts, that’s totally fine because that’s not the point! The point is coming together and honoring those that gave their lives to protect our great Nation. Today, we honor “Del”. His picture choked me up a bit. He looks so young and a bit like my son. May God bless his soul and his loved ones that are left behind.

U.S. Army 1st Lt. He is survived by his wife, Katie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos E. Del Castillo; his brother, Carlos Andres; and sister, Anna.
