Scott's mile at the Drake Relays

Scott Hartley of Nunn, Colorado was the winner of the Masters Mile in the 100th Anniversary of the Drake Relays in Iowa.  Here is a video of Scott's victory at America's Sporting Classic.  CrossFit has kept Scott strong, fast and healthy.

To RJ regarding race strategy:

Normally takes more energy to lead early than to find that happy spot. As long as you maintain contact with the leaders and have a kick then staying back is the way to go. However, if the other runners have a better kick (if you know your competition) then you have to try to build a lead earlier in the race.
